Everybody Says Everything

I wrote this electroacoustic work for the Dutch electric guitar quartet Catch when I was a grad student. It's a goofy piece about noise polution. It also represents a particular challenge I set for myself:  to assimilate musical styles I loved but had never before attempted. The tape part features an unruly tapestry of chattering voices taken from old radio broadcasts, answering machine messages, stand-up comics, and other sources. I have a small singing role at the end, joined by two Princeton friends, Jordan Kizner and Lily Arbisser.
